Basic and Advanced Obedience Training
Puppy Class
Our trainers will work with puppies in small groups from age 12 weeks to 1 year on many things, including but not limited to potty accidents, positive play, sit, come, and more. This is a great class to just get started with.
We do require a few things before the puppy can join:
*Rabies Vaccine
*Distemper Vaccine
*Bordetella Vaccine
*Vet Check-up
These vaccines help ensure the puppies health, as well as the health of all the dogs we work with.
If you cannot afford these vaccines, please reach out to us. There are usually channels we can go through to help you cover the cost. All conversations we have will follow our privacy practices.
This class (like our other classes) is self paced. No limit to how long you can come as long as your pup fits the age requirement.
Participants may choose to earn the AKC S.T.A.R Puppy title upon completion.

Basic Obedience Training
We’re excited to offer basic obedience classes designed to help you and your dog of all ages build a stronger, more confident partnership. Together, we’ll work on essential skills such as proper leash walking, sit, come, stay, and more—all while helping you better understand your dog’s individual needs and learning style. Because no two handler-and-dog teams are alike, our focus is on finding what works best for you and your canine companion. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to refresh and strengthen the basics, this class provides the guidance, practice, and support you need to succeed. Many handlers even return to repeat the class with us, using it as a valuable way to reinforce good habits and keep foundational skills sharp.
Our basic obedience classes are designed to fit you and your canine companion—not a rigid four- or six-week schedule. Every team learns at its own pace. Our flexible, self-paced approach allows us to meet you where you are, work around your availability, and help you build confidence step by step. We will continue working with you until you and your dog are ready for the next level—if and when you choose to take that step.
Participants may choose to earn the AKC Canine Good Citizen title upon completion
Advanced Obedience Training
We are excited to offer advanced obedience one classes for handlers and dogs ready to build on their foundation and refine more advanced skills. This class will include work on “leave it” commands, longer-distance sit, stay, and recall, as well as improved manners around other dogs and people, crossing the road or navigating group settings. Canines entering appropriate stores and waiting patiently/appropriately for you, even with distractions. Like all of our programs, this class is flexible and not limited to a set timeline. We meet you where you and your canine partner are, providing guidance and support at a pace that works for your team. Advanced obedience is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen communication, build trust, and showcase the teamwork you and your dog have developed together.
Participants may choose to earn the AKC Canine Good Citizen Advanced title as well as a AKC Canine Good Citizen-Urban title upon completion (must have a CGC title before receiving CGCA/CGCU)
Emotional Support Animal (ESA)
For many people, an emotional support animal is more than a pet—it is a steady source of comfort, calm, and connection. Whether someone needs help decompressing at home or reassurance while out in animal-appropriate public spaces, an ESA can provide meaningful emotional support during difficult moments. It is important, however, to understand the difference between an emotional support animal and a service dog. Service dogs are specially trained to perform specific tasks and are generally permitted in most public spaces, while emotional support animals are typically allowed only in animal-appropriate areas. One important benefit of an ESA is that they may be permitted in “pet-free” housing, making them a valuable option for individuals who need consistent support. Emotional support animals offer love, companionship, and stability, and they can be especially helpful for people living with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other emotional or mental health challenges.
Public Access Training- Service Dog Training
Public Access Training
Service dog training takes time, commitment, and consistent work, but the benefits of a well-trained canine companion can be life-changing. Before beginning public access training, dogs should successfully complete both basic and advanced obedience training to ensure they have a strong foundation. Whether you are seeking support for PTSD, TBI, mobility needs, or another specific task, we are here to help you and your dog move forward with confidence.
Mobility Dog Task Training
Mobility dogs have provided formally trained assistance since the 1970s, helping handlers gain greater independence, confidence, and safety in daily life. These specially trained dogs can support a wide range of needs, from assisting with an unsteady gait and retrieving essential items to pulling a wheelchair, turning lights on and off, or helping with everyday tasks around the home. Because mobility work often requires strength and stability, these dogs are typically medium to large breeds capable of safely assisting their handler. With proper training, a mobility dog may help a handler rise after a fall, get out of a chair or bed, and retrieve important items such as medication, a phone, or other daily necessities. For many individuals, the right mobility dog can make daily routines more manageable and help create a greater sense of freedom and self-reliance.

Psychiatric Service Dog Training
Psychiatric service dogs provide more than comfort—they are specially trained to respond when symptoms arise and offer meaningful support in everyday life. Unlike emotional support animals, psychiatric service dogs are trained to perform specific tasks such as deep pressure therapy, behavioral interruption, alerting to or helping prevent episodes, creating space in crowded environments, and providing medication reminders. For many of our veterans living with PTSD, depression, or anxiety, these dogs can become trusted partners who offer stability, confidence, comfort and a greater sense of independence.

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Dog Training
For a veteran living with a traumatic brain injury, even ordinary moments can feel confusing, overwhelming, or unsafe. A TBI service dog is trained to be a steady partner through those moments—helping with daily tasks such as medication reminders, offering guidance when times or places feel disorienting, and leading their handler to a safe location, such as a car, home, or trusted loved one, when the world becomes too much. TBI Service dogs are always there to offer a helping paw when their handler needs it. Because traumatic brain injuries can also affect balance and physical stability, many TBI service dogs are trained in mobility support as well, including bracing when appropriate and helping their handler move with greater confidence. These remarkable dogs can also provide deep pressure therapy when needed, offering calm, connection, and reassurance while helping keep their handler safe.
